JUNICHI HAKOSE FOR VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, A RARE LIMITED EDITION MOTHER OF PEARL, LACQUER AND DIAMOND 'LACQUERED BUTTERFLIES' BROOCH in 18ct white gold, designed as a butterfly set with round brilliant cut diamonds, the wings set with mother of pearl, with an applied lacquer design, signed VCA and numbered, French assay marks, stamped 750, 4.9cm, 21.2g. 

Representing the fusion of French and Japanese cultures, this longstanding collaboration between Van Cleef and Arpels and Junichi Hakose resulted in the creation a series of these wonderful lacquer and jewelled butterfly clips in 2011, known as 'Lacquered Butterflies'. Each design is unique and was hand painted by Mr Hakose in his workshop in Japan.

(i) Domestic UK packages are charged according to the below pricing bands, dependent on the invoice amount:

Band A - £1 - £2,500. Cost is £20.00
Band A - £2,501 - £4,000. Cost is £30.00
Band B - £4,001 - £6,000 Cost is £40.00
Band C- £6,001 - £8,000 Cost is £50.00
Band D - £8,001 - £10,000 Cost is £60.00
Band E - £10,001 - £15,000 Cost is £70.00
Band F - £15,001 and above Cost is £80.00

International Packages are charged as follows:

i) Up to £250 in value charged at £30.00 per package;
ii) In excess of £250 in value charged at £40.00 per package plus insurance at a rate of 1% of the total purchase price.
