Whilst auctions are inherently sustainable, allowing items of the past to continue their story in the present and future, it is important to maintain these values at all stages of the auction process.
All of our packaging, down to the tape we use to secure our boxes, is fully recyclable. You can open your treasure and place the entire contents of your package in your local recycling centre, knowing you are minimising the effect you have on our planet, with minimal effort.
We also shred and recycle our used paper as well as choosing the most environmentally efficient couriers.

Gem engraving and carving are techniques that have been used by civilisations across the globe, both ancient and modern, to decorate gem material and also add a level of functionality. One can still find many surviving examples of ancient Roman and Greek carved gems in museums to this day. Intaglio, meaning carving, is the method used to incise gems with shapes, patterns or designs. Inversely, cameos are carvings in relief which stand out from their background, giving a three-dimensional effect.
