MONTBLANC WRITERS EDITION CARLO COLLODI BALLPOINT PEN
Limited Edition Number 4538 of 14,600.
Created in 2011, this intricate piece was crafted in celebration of Italian author Carlo Collodi, the creator of Pinocchio. Collodi was born in Florence in 1826 and worked as a librarian, translator, novelist, author, and political writer. His story has enchanted generations and has been the subject of numerous adaptations in film, art and theatre.
The ballpoint pen features dark brown precious resin, accented by the books iconic characters: the voracious whale, the loyal cricket, the shady fox, the deceitful cat and the good fairy, are featured on the skeletonised cap overlay. The screw set into the clip symbolises the joints of Pinocchio, and the cone symbolises his legendary growing nose.
Length 13.5cm. Accompanied by outer box, display box and booklet.

Band A - £2,501 - £4,000. Cost is £30.00
Band B - £4,001 - £6,000 Cost is £40.00
Band C- £6,001 - £8,000 Cost is £50.00
Band D - £8,001 - £10,000 Cost is £60.00
Band E - £10,001 - £15,000 Cost is £70.00
Band F - £15,001 and above Cost is £80.00
International Packages are charged as follows:
i) Up to £250 in value charged at £30.00 per package;
ii) In excess of £250 in value charged at £40.00 per package plus insurance at a rate of 1% of the total purchase price.
