History of the Lange 1 20th Anniversary

The present references 101.064 and 811.064 honour the remarkable legacy of Walter Lange and Günter Blümlein, tracing back to the debut collection in 1994. The Lange 1, Arkade, Saxonia, and Tourbillon Pour le Mérite models set a new standard in design language, a tradition continued in the 20th-anniversary models.

This rose gold pair of ‘his & hers’ Lange 1 20th Anniversary wristwatches, among the first in rose gold presented at auction, symbolises togetherness. Debuted at the Hong Kong Watches & Wonders fair in 2014, these sets are highly exclusive, with only 20 made of each type. This offering is number 17, featuring a Lange 1 (38mm) and a Little Lange 1 (36mm) adorned with diamonds.

The dials, made of solid gold, boast intricate hand-guilloché work. Both watches are powered by the in-house calibre L901.0 manually wound movement, offering a 72-hour power reserve. For this special 20th anniversary model, the balance cock is additionally engraved with the number ‘20’.
